More than 50,000 people are getting ready for the National Meeting on Literature. The Pre-Meeting, which takes place in the months previous to the Meeting, is one of the highlights of the event. Students and teachers from Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, Paraná, and São Paulo form groups to read the works of the writers who participate in the Meeting. Thus, they are better prepared for the discussions and help promote reading.
